Xcorps Action Sports Show #29.) "MIG-21" - DIRECTORS CUT - The Xcorps goes ballistic in this special supersonic episode featuring host Jason Lazo strapping into a Russian MIG-21 combat jet fighter, host Rat Sult unleashing his new 500HP desert sand rod all powered by music from 4 new rocking bands!
The show opens from Stead Air Field near Reno Nevada where host Jason Lazo is walking the line at Mig Alley - called this because of the nest of Russian jet fighter aircraft parked there. It's all about high performance on the Xcorps with Jason looking Top Gun sitting in the original 70's era Mach 2.3 cockpit. The Russian plane is known for its very high performance and terror factor to U.S. fighter pilots!
Segment one warms up with some close up shots of the Red Star Squadron jet and some pre-flight briefing by X Rocket pilot Bob Ray who coaches Jason on the finer points of ejection seat etiquette. If the engine quits its time to leave-fast - since the plane nose-dives like a lawn dart without power! Jason checks out the thin wings and BIG engine, which jams the jet over 1300 mph wide open! Music by Downtown Records new band Eagles of Death Metal jamming their song - Just Nineteen - keeping the pace. Fun.
After the break Jason returns to introduce new music and a cool video from mega band Eagles of Death Metal doing their song - I Want you so Hard. Featured with the band in the vid are musician Dave Grohl and actor Jack Black. Hilarious! Produced by Josh Homme this music is s*xy rock and roll fun!
After that the JP5 fuel ignites with Jason in the MIG and more new tunes from the Maverick Records band Family Force 5 keeping it taught with their song - Love Addict. Check out the original aqua-green cockpit interior devoid of any fancy gadgets or electronics - a true high performance pilots airplane. Killer on board video and sounds of Xcorps Jason Lazo and pilot Bob Ray shot by mini DV cams as the plane taxis and launches off the runway. No punches were pulled during full test flight maneuvers including 5G turns, 4-point barrel rolls and inverted loops with full afterburner. Fun way to burn 500 gallons of gas in less than 45 minutes - only on The Xcorps!
After the landing see Jasons new look and what pilot Billy Bob Ray thinks of our Xcorps host! Great sound bytes from Top Gun J and what he compares the combat style speed ride to!
Segment three rolls out with Jason jamming his own guitar and a cool new video from our friends at RIVE featuring the band Street Dogs. U.S. Iraq war vets make up the band and produced the video with their song. Back to the World - being as true and down home as it gets. Check this angle. Back our forces!
The high horsepower continues in next segment with Jason throwing the action to guest host Rat Sult at the Glamis Dunes firing up his new All Star sand rod powered by a 500HP LS2 Corvette motor. Check out the POV action as Rat rolls up and races 2 other sand rods pumped by new Suburban NoiZe Records band Hed p.e. doing their song Lock and Load.
Xcorps Xguru Eric Ducharme hosts segment 4 reporting back stage from the Black Cat in Washington D.C. rapping with Eagles of Death Metal band member Jesse Boots Electric Hughes. Check out the laughs and the story on how the band got its name.
The Mig show closes out with a few more high-speed shots of Jason over the Nevada desert and his thanks to all involved in making this episode the fastest one yet with a promise of another dose next week! See the action - Hear the Music - Join the Xcorps!

Thefyzz is delighted to announce that Fused has been awarded the top prize at the prestigious 48 Hour Film Project, being named Best Film – London 2008.
The six-minute short is a slick and engaging nugget of cinematic excellence, revolving around the humorous and unexpected events facing a group of friends at a dinner party when the power keeps cutting out.
‘Fused’ was judged Best Film by respected members of the industry including James King (BBC), Tricia Tuttle (BAFTA) and Briony Hanson (Script Factory).
The film also received three more awards: Best Ensemble Cast, Best Use of Line and The Audience Award, making it the most bestowed film of the competition. Having beaten the other 30 entries in the London category, Fused will now compete against the winners of all participating 70 cities around the globe for the elite worldwide 48 Hour Film Project prize.
The 48 Hour Film Project is a wild and sleepless weekend in which teams of filmmakers have to write, shoot, edit and score a movie in just 48 hours. The competition is the oldest and largest timed film competition in the world. Since its conception in Washington DC seven years ago, over 7,000 teams have participated across 70 cities. The competition format is simple: on Friday night you get a character, a prop, a line of dialogue and a genre, all of which need to be included in your movie. 48 hours later, the movie must be complete. Then it is shown at a local theatre and judged by the general public and a round table of industry judges. (Less)

Xcorps Action Sports Show #18.) "MTN.BOARD" - seg2 - Xcorps host Eric Ducharme and 20 other dirt board skaters roll down the infamous Nate Harrison grade on the backside of Californias Mt. Palomar in this grassroots speed driven episode.
All terrain skating also known as mountain boarding is a hybrid sport that has taken skating to a whole new grass roots level of adrenalized excitement.
Once again Xcorps cameras were the only ones rolling on the action as boarders ripped down the 7 miles of rough fire road on the historic Palomar Mtn which is topped by the famous observatory. Race rules were simple - fastest time to the bottom of the mountain wins.
The show opens fast and hot as the X Guru and other boarders strap themselves to their specialized skateboards, which have pneumatic tires, and spring suspensions that help handle the bone jarring washboard ride. Dirt riders roll hard in show scenes backed by Maverick Records band One Side Zero. See the dust and gravel fly as Eric and the guys and one gal - Julian Lewis - slide into the hairpins. Lots of cool POV and multi angle speed shots here along with some brutal wipeouts. Most riders do wear full protective gear resulting in a good survival rate.
Eric then talks to race organizer Rob Eakle about the grass roots event and the sponsors that make it happen. After that Eric intros a new video from our friends at RIVE with the band Skinny Puppy showing some major break skills in their new video/song called Pro Test directed by William Morrison. Very hip shot and edited film backed with tunes by a world-class band. Check this vid!
The next segment rolls right into another new video from RIVE and Side One Dummy Records with the band Flogging Molly rocking a punk Celtic-Core Irish jig called Drunken Lullabies. See band member and pro skater Matt Hensley huck some sweet street skate moves here along with more dirt skate scenes with Eric from Mt. Palomar. Nice dusty wipeouts too! After that the X Guru interviews NHG 7 mtn board 1st place race winner Krazy Kris Kidwell and 2nd place winner pro Akoni Kama who talk about their recent gigs. The show wraps with more dirt skate action from Palomar including 4 year old Damian Hurtenstein showing his young board skills followed by a look at some core dirt board action scenes from the video Flirt With Dirt by Damon Krouse. Additional music by Off By One, Pressure 4-5 and Alien Ant Farm. Dirt boarders rule the dust!

Segment one opens with Eric touring D.C. and throwing it back to California where Rat and a dozen other adrenalized speed junkies are carving down the slopes of the 10,064 foot Mt.Baldy near Upland California on snowbikes. This is the second time the Xcorps cams have focused on this cool new sport-which is allowed only on a select few forward thinking ski resorts here in the U.S. Thanks Mt.Baldy-Robbie Ellingson for your grooviness. The Xcams follow the action POV style with warm spring conditions requiring only T-shirts on the Xbike and Slopecycle riders. See what it takes to convert any bicycle into a snow bike using the simple kit available at http://www.winterxbike.com/.

http://www.watcha3.com - Fall From grace - 'Hated Youth' - Fall From Grace is a Hard Rock Phoenix rising from the ashes of adversity. Each of the four band members are a walking testament to the saying “that which does not kill you, makes you stronger.” Creating music for the masses, each song is a story of struggle, and triumph.
Fall From Grace formed in the musical hotbed of Seattle Washington. However this punk-rock, foursome does not subscribe to the indie pop culture or grunge persona most are used to from the area. Instead, Fall From Grace live and play in the underbelly of the Seattle scene, hitting the hardcore clubs and breathing life into a new movement they are building, one that is breaking through with the help of acts like Aiden and Amber Pacific.
Fall from Grace’s gritty punk-rock sound is exemplified by their non-stop action packed live show. Front man Tryg commands the mob of psycho scenesters while singing songs with infectious melodies, brutal breakdowns and crowd clap choruses. Their music gives something to everyone. Although the subject matter is dark at times the display is up tempo and incites a dancing riot. This band has come together and faced the darkest of times but has spun it in a way that brings the message of hope and hard-core happiness to all who hear it. (Less)
