An artist confronts an empty canvas in a dingy studio while a thunderstorm rages outside, struggling to find inspiration to match his previous works. When his first attempts are unsatisfying, he finds a set of goggles which give him a new artistic power of vision. He whips up such a creative frenzy that the artwork takes a life of its own. (Less)

Two lovers meet one another on a bridge. All is well until tragedy rises from the water.

This Film was made using traditional cut-out animation.
Everything is done under the camera, only some minor After Effects were added later.

This film was made in South Africa in a home studio. It took 3 months to make. We constructed a 1.2 meter high light box and mounted the camera above it.

The first chapter of my very own original tale starring my principal character named Whisk. He is a creature woven out of burlap and threaded together with love. He represents the innocent and naive in a harsh world he knows little about. His love for his creator and mother, a six-year-old witch, named Brumehilda Meltwater, is the one connection he is certain of, and his only recollection of pure happiness. When his mother is viciously taken from him, her vow to bring him to life is complete, for the loss he feels is enough to animate him fully. He sets out on a journey to regain her love and companionship. The journey of Whisk is one where he will never give up hope. Again this is the first chapter of my story in the form of puppet animation. I hope to meet fellow puppet animators as passionate about the art form as I am and take my story even further!. (Less)

This is a compilation of test animations and short films that I produced based on some characters I created out of recycled goods. They are pure and wholesome and ever so adorable.
The recycled goods that make up these little guys include cardboard for their appendages and torso, plastic golf balls and bottle caps for their pose able joints and of course egg cartons for their heads!!
Destined to uphold peaceful and moral values, I believe these characters have what it takes to bring any one a smile!. (Less)

This piece is actually one of my first projects with my "Incredible Egg Noggins", created in early 2007. It captures a conversation between two Noggins in my heart. No one is able to understand the characters yet, for they are speaking their tongue in a dialect only I, their creator, know how to translate. This was sort of a preliminary test animation for a larger project I hope to complete one day with "The Incredible Egg Noggins"!
