regenerate Redcar seafront...But what happened to The £88m Coatham Links scheme of 2002 ?! After 7 years of council hype, the great “Rennaissance for Redcar” has seen over a MILLION pounds spent and NOT ONE brick laid of any new tourism and leisure facilities.

COATHAM IS A COMMON CONCERN because every taxpayer in this borough has paid for it. Like the MPs expenses scandal that outraged the nation, the Coatham leisure scandal involves all the parties grossly misusing our money. But this amount far exceeds the cost of Redcar MP Vera Baird’s Xmas decorations...
