PLEASE NOTE: I DID NOT WRITE, DIRECT OR MAKE THIS FILM, I MERELY PRODUCED THE VISUAL EFFECTS SEQUENCES!

Directed by Henry Scholfield of Holse Productions, this short film tells the story of a young hedge fund manager, recruited into a company that fast becomes not what it seems. Over the course of his employment he realises that something more sinister is at play, with robots cybernetically enhancing the employees to increase their productivity.

I produced all the visual effects sequences from conception to final post production. My work was produced using 3D Studio Max & After Effects. The effect of the arm cut-open was achieved by using green screen paint where the the robotics and arm internals were to be seen, this was enhanced with some make up and prosthetic flesh for the skin folds.
I also produced the title sequence and a visual effects shot of a robotic LED burrowing up inside the protagonists wrist.
In March 2008 the visual effects in this short was shortlisted by a panel of industry experts for the Escape Awards 2008.

Xcorps Action Sports Show #11.) "MTN.HIGH" - The Xcorps team heads to fresh pal powder in this winter episode shot at So. Cals Mtn High resort and Alaskas Valdez Mtns.
Sweet XC host Roslyn Bradle opens the show with a little air under her snowboard at Mtn High in Wrightwood Ca looking good and moving fast. Also the first shots of the elusive and rare Guerilla Boarder - the resorts own BigFoot - appear here with XC cams catching the beast pulling moves to Maverick Records band Soul Hooligan. The monkey has talents!
What follows next is what we do best cutting the edge with hosts Bob Woodard and Eric Ducharme testing out the new model snow bikes with a Go Big attitude and a knack for avoiding the ski patrol. MRM Placement band Issues pumps the POV style action on these bikes with Bob and Eric leaving all behind. Check out X Guru Ducharmes massive Big Air over the Gap! Warning - do not attempt these moves - our hosts are fully XC qualified and adrenalized into a near mad mental state! After that Roslyn talks to Mountain Highs John McColly about the seasons events like the H2o Winter Classic and the ever-popular Pond Skim event which Bob and Eric take part in. Its not easy skimming across an ice pond to the other side but team XC steps up with Bob on his snowboard and Eric on his monoski. Lots of laughs here for sure with many that fail and dunk hard! See how Bob and Eric handle the H2o crossing. Sweet Roslyn riding the ski lift intros a new music video from Maverick Records hot chick band - Lillix. Nice high-end talent and production values here and the girls can sing!
Following the video field XC host Pete Clark reports from Prince William Sound Valdez Alaska where he joins with Points North Heli Adventures for some X style vert boarding. See Pete and the boys from Outcast productions hop the chopper and rip the north frontier peaks. Just another day for our Xcorps hosts. Nice shots of Alaskan scenics and wildlife here. Xcorps Action Sports Show #26.) "WAKE-2" - seg3 - The Xcorps is based in San Diego for good reason - So Cal is the birthplace of many genre action sports including the wild gymnastically inclined kicker sport of wakeboarding - the focus of this show episode featuring some of the best wakers on the planet ripping for the Xcams! The show opens with special guest host Crystal Fambrini leading the way to super scenic Lake San Vicente near San Diego where she meets Dave Williams from http://www.wakeworld.com/ launching 2 brand new Malibu Wakesetter towboats. Nice. Watching the glassy water pro riders Jimmy Wolf, Sean Obrien and Mike Schwenne are smiling. They know a good day was at hand since the Xcorps had the entire lake secured just for them and their best moves! Very nice-total wake control on a warm November day in So Cal. Fresh tunes and a new vid from Maverick Records band Story of the Year mix up the Big Air action.
Check out shot after shot of insanely big smooth moves by all three-world class wakeboarders just having fun for the Xcorps HD cams. Music and some film noire from Select Records band Monday Morning c/o Rive video pump up the segment.
Crystal talks to Sean Obrien about the day and what it takes to pull those moves and then intros a wild video from the new punk girl down from Canada-HRM Records Bif Naked doing her tune Letdown. Check the high production value in this music film produced by the Canada Music Fund. Go Bif Go!
After that Crystal-looking golden behind the wheel of the Mailu - opens it up for rider Jimmy Wolf who hucks and spins trails through the sky above the lake. Insane action shots c/o XC shooter John Porter being tube towed behind the boat.
Then in a new product segment Crystal introduces the audience to a new way to ride the water - on Banshee Riverboards. The footage says it all but the concept involves the sport of skim boarding but on rivers instead of the ocean using bungee cords which harness the rivers current launching the riders upstream over 30 MPH! Xcorps Action Sports Show #17.) "JETBOARD" - seg.3 - The Xcorps X talent team rolls into action again in this episode with Jason in Detroit jamming a local club with his band, Roslyn on the beach in California covering a skim board event, Bob test riding the revolutionary Jet Board and Eric putting on a huge extreme sports XPO in San Diego.
The show opens with Jason in metro Motown talking about his band the Don Juan Invitation and the local music scene. Great original tunes here along with a special Xcorps tribute song. After that the camera shifts to host Bob Woodard at the XC test site at Irvine Lake California where Bob takes a look at a new way to ride the waves-on a Powerski! See how he does on his first ride on the board all pushed hard with a song and video from the Maverick Records band The Deftones.
After break its over to Laguna Beach Ca where we find host Roslyn Bradle covering the niche fun beach sport of skim boarding or riding the waves that break on the beach.
Laguna is all about the beach break and XC cams get lots of sweet skim moves by some of the best skim surfers out there all mixed up with music and shots from So. Cal based band LiT rolling their song. Roz talks with skim master and Common Sense band member Nick Hernandez about the history of the sport.
The next segment rolls south to San Diego where host Eric Ducharme shows his skills at producing action sports events - this one called the Action Sports and Fitness Show held at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Non stop big hucks here featuring huge air by skaters, mountain boarders and BMX freestylers pushing it to the beat from the chick Maverick band LilliX doing the old Romantics tune What I like About You. Perfect. See what Eric Big Air Ducharme has to say about the event. Right on X Guru!
The show wraps back in Detroit with Jasons band doing another original tune from the stage at club Rumors and a look at some pro sky surfing from the next episode of Xcorps. Xcorps #46.) SNOWBIKE-2 seg.2- This winter X show features team XC returning to the So Cal mountains riding mini foot snowboards at Mountain High and snowbikes ripping down the slopes at Big Bear in a suicide race called the Kamikaze Downhill!
A follow up to Snowbike-1 this Xcorps episode includes more exclusive footage of 15 athlete riders on high performance BMX and mountain bike frames converted for high speed snow racing!

Xcorps on camera reporter Jason Lazo opens from the beach at San Clemente Ca less than 2 hours drive from the Big Bear ski resort. Jason thros to the X Guru Eric Ducharme who is hanging with snowbike conversion kit inventor Matt Hanson who demonstrates how to convert any bike into a snowbike! If you can ride a bicycle you can handle the black diamonds as demonstrated by BMX rider Brian Bubba Smith who starts things off with a Rodeo Can and a smooth long Tail whip! Sweet!

An Eskimo hunter sets out to the stormy blizzards of the snowy mountains in search for a pray to hunt. The hunter stumbles upon an unlikely Prey, an egg that just hatched out of the snow and mistakes the hunter for it's mother. But when the angry Yetti notices what's happening, the hunter shortly becomes the hunted and finds himself in need of assistance from his former Prey.
