The story develops in a prison camp where a soldier lives his personal defeat as a man imprisoned in others' meanings. It's a monologue that walks the audience along the desperate descent to the awareness of failure. The soldier is required to guard a prisoner and doing so he wonders about his attitude, his life, the moment that he is living and he compares himself to the prisoner and only in the end he realizes that they're the very same man. How much they both have been considered and intended. The figure nearly semiotics, iconic, of the prisoner is for the soldier both a way of escaping and saving at the same time. (Less)

The aircraft is a Beachcraft AT-11 WWII bomber trainer in the middle of being converted for civilian use. A pilot recognized the ID number and told me it was still in use.
When I finished this video and put it on youtube Dave was at a fly-in in Florida. He emailed me after watching it and said "Yes, thats exactly what happened, rofl". His wife Karen said he's still like that. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
After seeing the 8mm movie for the first time Dave said if he had seen that much smoke coming from the engines at start-up he would have worried more, or maybe at all. (Less)

From securing our cats into the safety sections of their enclosures, pulling down hazardous dead trees, getting all supplies stocked up and ready, nothing is left to chance.

Big Cat Rescue is a non-profit educational sanctuary home to 140 unwanted and abused exotic cats like, lions, tigers, leopards, lynx and bobcats.

Nothing goes to waste at Big Cat Rescue especially when it can be used as enrichment for two of our tigers, Shere Khan and China Doll!
Treats like this encourage natural behaviors and provide mental stimulation for our cats. This video puts a face on the cat's food and I hope it causes people to stop and think about what they eat. The cats have no other choice, but we do and seeing the cow's faces in this video really brings home the fact that the burger on your plate had a face too.

Big Cat Rescue is located in Tampa Florida, during the summer months it gets extremely hot, so to help our cats beat the heat we make them popsicles!

For the smaller cats we make bloodcicles, chickcicles and sardini martinis, but for our larger residents we make super size popsicles for them to enjoy!

Watch one of our senior volunteers go through the process of making one of these giant popsicles and then hand it out to a grateful tiger!
