It was a challenge getting these shots in the rolling big waves as Aaron paddled his 15-foot board up and down the deep blue victory at sea swells all captured for our viewers in HD!
Everyone onboard was hanging tight as Aaron paddled the huge water edited with a fresh new music video from San Diego band My American Heart. Nice fit! Jason talks with the HawaiiMana man back at the boat. See what he says about the ride!

Xcorps Action Sports Show #38.) XCORR-2 seg.4 - This high RPM Xcorps episode delivers big horse off road race action with continuing coverage of the CORR off-road motor sports race series held at the The Quarry racetrack in Chula Vista California.
Show host Jason Lazo opens it up south of San Diego in Chula Vista California right along the Mexican border reporting on the new CORR off-road races. The X HD cams rolled from all angles on this new style of motor sports with Jason trackside in the high horse jammin war zone of V8 noise, flying gravel and fast trucks! Suburban Records band Dirtball matches the action level with their song "RockRoll"! Raptillian Baby!
See high rev mud slinging action backed by a screaming spectator crowd of over 10,000 with Baja and NASCAR drivers banging it up and going BIG off kickers and berms easily covering 10 truck lengths through the air! It's loud and Jason's proud to be there covering all the moves over the mile long course carved into a mountain - an old stone quarry on the Mexican border - making for a great view of the action from the stands. Sub NoiZe Records band Hed PE pumps it up with their new video "Suffa". Sick POV action shots here from cameras in the rigs as well as from an over-head cable cam capable of 100MPH+ provided by Perpetual Motion.
The next segment rolls hard and fast with more CORR carnage action and The Kottonmouth Kings presenting their rip-hop video 'Living Proof' to the XC audience. Nice Hollywood style shoot-out here to the dirt track action that includes mass destruction and vehicle punch-outs-flips-rolls and fire all over the Chula Vista track!
The segments pound on with more Sub NoiZe music from the Humble Gods pushing their tune 'Destroy' - only the strongest survive! Another nice fit!
In the pits Jason talks to MX legend Jeremy McGrath about CORR and his crossover to 4 wheels! See what he says. After that the relentless high-powered action continues with Jason hanging with a Mariachi band and the sweet Monster girls! More shots here of high priced truck demolition along with mixed cool edit effects and insane airborne race action POV Xcorps style!
Rolling the pits J Man then speaks to CORR drivers Josh Baldwin, Ricky Johnson and Alan Pflueger who talk about their winning race strategies and what they think of CORR! See wide open race moves cut with a new video from the band Junkyard Prophet jamming their song 'Remember Me' presented by RIVE. Sweet fit!
After the break Jason returns to X Zone trackside for more dirt motor racing with the start of the Super Buggy category of off-road motosports fueled by Dirtballs song 'Batter Swing' - a song about baseball that works for these racing shots too!
Jason catches up with race event organizer Deanne Vernengo who talks about the races and the rugged track.
The show closes out with Jason ducking flying gravel and the Humble Gods doing their song 'Destroy' along more sick cable cam and in car POV video from Chula Vista at cool outdoor track called 'The Quarry'.
CORR - Championship Offroad Racing is race genre born from the Baja Mexico 500/1000 races which led to the development of a wide range of tough custom 2 and 4 wheel drive off-road race vehicles including 800HP trucks with massive suspensions along with Pro Lite street style trucks, dirt buggies, trophy carts, ATV's and Rhino racers. James Baldwin was instrumental in developing and bringing the races to the people with stadium style race events championed by Mickey Thompson in the 1960's. Now many members of the Baldwin family help manage, promote and race in CORR events.
Keeping it fresh with CORR motor sports this show includes a new Xcorps music theme by host Jason Lazo!

Xcorps Action Sports Show #29.) "MIG-21" - DIRECTORS CUT - The Xcorps goes ballistic in this special supersonic episode featuring host Jason Lazo strapping into a Russian MIG-21 combat jet fighter, host Rat Sult unleashing his new 500HP desert sand rod all powered by music from 4 new rocking bands!
The show opens from Stead Air Field near Reno Nevada where host Jason Lazo is walking the line at Mig Alley - called this because of the nest of Russian jet fighter aircraft parked there. It's all about high performance on the Xcorps with Jason looking Top Gun sitting in the original 70's era Mach 2.3 cockpit. The Russian plane is known for its very high performance and terror factor to U.S. fighter pilots!
Segment one warms up with some close up shots of the Red Star Squadron jet and some pre-flight briefing by X Rocket pilot Bob Ray who coaches Jason on the finer points of ejection seat etiquette. If the engine quits its time to leave-fast - since the plane nose-dives like a lawn dart without power! Jason checks out the thin wings and BIG engine, which jams the jet over 1300 mph wide open! Music by Downtown Records new band Eagles of Death Metal jamming their song - Just Nineteen - keeping the pace. Fun.
After the break Jason returns to introduce new music and a cool video from mega band Eagles of Death Metal doing their song - I Want you so Hard. Featured with the band in the vid are musician Dave Grohl and actor Jack Black. Hilarious! Produced by Josh Homme this music is s*xy rock and roll fun!
After that the JP5 fuel ignites with Jason in the MIG and more new tunes from the Maverick Records band Family Force 5 keeping it taught with their song - Love Addict. Check out the original aqua-green cockpit interior devoid of any fancy gadgets or electronics - a true high performance pilots airplane. Killer on board video and sounds of Xcorps Jason Lazo and pilot Bob Ray shot by mini DV cams as the plane taxis and launches off the runway. No punches were pulled during full test flight maneuvers including 5G turns, 4-point barrel rolls and inverted loops with full afterburner. Fun way to burn 500 gallons of gas in less than 45 minutes - only on The Xcorps!
After the landing see Jasons new look and what pilot Billy Bob Ray thinks of our Xcorps host! Great sound bytes from Top Gun J and what he compares the combat style speed ride to!
Segment three rolls out with Jason jamming his own guitar and a cool new video from our friends at RIVE featuring the band Street Dogs. U.S. Iraq war vets make up the band and produced the video with their song. Back to the World - being as true and down home as it gets. Check this angle. Back our forces!
The high horsepower continues in next segment with Jason throwing the action to guest host Rat Sult at the Glamis Dunes firing up his new All Star sand rod powered by a 500HP LS2 Corvette motor. Check out the POV action as Rat rolls up and races 2 other sand rods pumped by new Suburban NoiZe Records band Hed p.e. doing their song Lock and Load.
Xcorps Xguru Eric Ducharme hosts segment 4 reporting back stage from the Black Cat in Washington D.C. rapping with Eagles of Death Metal band member Jesse Boots Electric Hughes. Check out the laughs and the story on how the band got its name.

Xcorps Action Sports Show #20.) "XPO" - seg.4 and 5 - This high rolling Xcorps episode doses the viewer with host Eric Ducharme riding the rare Randal motorized skateboard and features a cool Xsports event called the Extreme XPO all powered by new music and video from one of our favorite bands - Primus.
The show opens with a skate jam at a local Encinitas Ca parking lot with Eric The X Guru fueling up the unique Randal mid engine motor board. Not sold in stores and with only 60 made in 1995 by Randal, known for their high speed skate trucks, this rare board rocks with a 27 cc shaft drive motor, centrifugal clutch and Randal skate trucks. Great on board POV shots here as Eric demo rides this very cool board wide open. Hear how he rates the rig.
Next the show rolls back in time to 1997 to the Del Mar California fairgrounds and an event produced by the X Guru called the Extreme XPO. This huge indoor/outdoor Xfest illustrates our producers were way ahead of the times by featuring sports like mountain boarding, freestyle BMX with Ryan Nyquist on his Haro along with half pipe action on inline skates, bikes and boards and even a few words from host Jason Lazo at the start of his on camera TV career. Check a wacky pack race around the track with pocket bikes, 4 man Go Peds, Rollercycles, Fly bikes and Eric on a mini cart. Nice style Xman. Freestyle races rule especially with a mixed bag like this!
After that Eric intros a new video from our friends at RIVE with new Primus recorded live November 2004 at Chicagos Aragon Ballroom. Good to see Primus back onstage again.
After the break Primus returns with more live video from their Hallucino-Genetics tour and a performance of the song Pudding Time backed by shots from local Encinitas skate jammers who can stick their moves. Meanwhile the XGURU takes a few more gas powered runs on his classic Randal motor board.
The show wraps with some comedy from Primus and a theatrical look at band member Les Claypool in the year 2065 talking about their Woodstock 1994 gig!

Xcorps Action Sports Show #14.) "BASE-2" - Those fearing heights beware - this episode of the Xcorps freefalls right over the edge with guest host and world class B.A.S.E. jumper Ray Murphy falling into a 1200 foot glory hole in Mexico called Cave of the Swallows. For the ultimate in ground rushes Ray and 5 loco amigo hombres from the States - Matt McClone, Jeremy Brice, Morgan Moert, Travis Meimann, and Dan Langstraat strap on parasails that look like small backpacks and launch themselves into the massive underground void where very few have gone before. Surreal action scenes here along with great tunes by Off by One, Drowning Pool and cool new breakout band from New England - Jediah all mixing well with the ambient cave audio echo.
B.A.S.E. jumpers - Buildings - Antennas - Structures - Earth are an insane and growing niche of adventurers who first must do thousands of jumps from aircraft to learn the needed skills to jump closer to earth. Jumping BASE is jumping with no margin for error. Feel true terror with scenes shot with multi helmet cams worn by the six eXtremists. The viewer is pulled downward with adrenalized clarity into one of the largest limestone sinkholes on the planet - The Cave of the Swallows near the remote town of Golondrinas in Eastern Mexico. The hole is 1200 feet deep - a seven second 100 mph B.A.S.E. drop into an echo chamber filled with sound of screaming freefalls and the wail of thousands of swallows and parrots living in the vertical cave walls. Surreal for sure! Watch those boulders when landing! There are no nearby hospitals. See how they get out.
Mid way through the show Ray introduces a new music video from our friends at Rive music promotions with the band NickelBack cranking up the volume with an explosive solid rock performance of their song - Figured You Out.
After that Ray returns with more BASE action followed by Xcorps host Bob Woodard riding a new skateboard from our friends at PHAT boards. Part Two in "Death of a Neuron," an anti-drug trilogy. In this paranoid odyssey of adolescent change, three best friends try to make their first feature film. As they progress with this fantasy, reality fades into the absurd. An ironic and naturalistic critique of suburban youth culture. Metaphorical, surrealist and lewd, the film breathes randomness.
While a great deal of absurdist fiction is humorous in nature, the hallmark of the genre is not humor, but rather the study of human behavior under circumstances that are highly unusual. Unlike many other forms of literature, absurdist works will not necessarily have a traditional plot structure (i.e. rising action, climax, falling action). Similarly, the “moral” of the story is generally not explicit, and the characters are often ambiguous in nature. It would be accurate to describe absurdism and absurdist fiction as an "acquired taste." The genre is a favorite among scholars because it lends itself so well to interpretation, discussion and debate.
Created for an avant-garde film course. It is an experimental piece.

Xcorps Action Sports Show #5.) "PAINTBALL" - seg.4 The X Corps team meets at one of the largest paint ball compounds on the west coast - Mr. Paintball - to duel hard with opponents from team Vengeance in this adrenalized war games episode. Paintball is an action sport growing faster than snowboarding and is statistically safer than golf and in various forms has become part of X sports scene. The game is popular for its high adrenaline levels and can be played indoors or out though it requires one to be physically fit and mentally sharp to compete with success and not get marked.
X Corps players Roslyn, Jason, Eric and Bob gear up with PMI Piranha paintball markers and a "Don't Tread On U.S." attitude. Squad leader and pro player 'Achilles' leads the way through various combat environments from tree covered hills and trenches to room to room urban duals all powered by fresh tunes from Maverick records including a cool song by the Paul Oakenfold-Ice Cube duo.
Hear the semi-automatics pop with welts raised on X Corps players and opponents in scenes with Bob Woodard rushing an enemy truck, Eric Ducharme taking friendly fire, Jason Lazo as urban guerilla and Roslyn Bradle getting captured and slammed in jail. Feel what an ambush feels like in a training exercise massacre scene shown in slow motion involving compound Special Forces players. The horror!
Also on this show is a new video from the Maverick records band Prodigy performing 'Babys Got a Temper'. Got milk? Then XC hosts Roslyn and Jason test ride the cool new Big Boy Scooters in Santa Monica Ca. See the new V-5 full suspension 55 cc 4-stroke model perform in a race between the XC hosts. These units fold easily into a car trunk and are a blast to ride! See www.bigboyscooters.com.
The show wraps with a coming soon preview and some sick helicam footage from the Long Beach to Catalina speed H2o races. This XC episode is an American original. WhooAAAhhh!!!

The show opens with XC host Jason Lazo jammin' some of his own tunes with his guitar on the beach at Swamis in Encinitas Ca.
Jason intro's a segment on the whacked sport of open ocean high speed water skiing - The Catalina races - held once a year out of Long Beach harbor. Participants in the race sign up for a 63 mile round trip straight line tour to the island of Catalina and back pulled by high performance 1200 horse power race boats. Most racers go non-stop completing the circuit in less than 1 hour! Average speed is 70mph.
We shot this segment strapped into an open door rock 'n' roll helicopter the Boeing MD-500 with pilot Larry Etchandy at the controls. Larry is crazy and used to shooting big Hollywood films and he gave us one wild ride resulting in some great action footage. Try flying backwards and sideways just feet in front of an open throttled race boat! New tunes from Maverick artist Paul Oakenfold powers the action. Interviews with the winning skiers on board the ocean liner Queen Mary after the races. See www.xcorpstv.com or www.catalinaskirace.com for more info.
After that Jason jams another tune on the beach and intros a fun segment on a new way to roll with a product from Australia called The Wheelman. Eric The X Guru Ducharme hosts this segment shot at his pad in Encinitas Ca where several of the motorized units were being assembled. Eric talks to inventor Grant Taylor about the new 46 cc rim drive 4 stroke foot motorcycle and gets to ride one too. This Xcorps episode introduces this new product, which will be popping up on the streets and trails here soon. Extremist and snowboard legend Shawn Farmer is on hand here as well helping with the assembly. If you can stand on a snowboard or ride a skateboard you can roll on a Wheelman says Grant. Action shots of Eric and other riders on the street, track and off road. New music from Maverick band Unloco pumps it up here too. See www.wheelman.com.au for more info.
After that Jason takes us to a new video from the talented Michelle Branch who sings her new tune "Goodbye to You". Check out her wheels, and the forest fire, and the fish! Then Jason opens a new segment that will appear regularly on the show called "A Skate Odessey" - an action film mix from our world of skate. More hard tunes from Unloco and see Erics Moab Utah wipeout! The show wraps with Jason laying down another tune from Swamis Beach along with a little more speed ski footage and a promise of more adrenaline laced episodes. Xcorps Action Sports Show #18.) "MTN.BOARD" - seg2 - Xcorps host Eric Ducharme and 20 other dirt board skaters roll down the infamous Nate Harrison grade on the backside of Californias Mt. Palomar in this grassroots speed driven episode.
All terrain skating also known as mountain boarding is a hybrid sport that has taken skating to a whole new grass roots level of adrenalized excitement.
Once again Xcorps cameras were the only ones rolling on the action as boarders ripped down the 7 miles of rough fire road on the historic Palomar Mtn which is topped by the famous observatory. Race rules were simple - fastest time to the bottom of the mountain wins.
The show opens fast and hot as the X Guru and other boarders strap themselves to their specialized skateboards, which have pneumatic tires, and spring suspensions that help handle the bone jarring washboard ride. Dirt riders roll hard in show scenes backed by Maverick Records band One Side Zero. See the dust and gravel fly as Eric and the guys and one gal - Julian Lewis - slide into the hairpins. Lots of cool POV and multi angle speed shots here along with some brutal wipeouts. Most riders do wear full protective gear resulting in a good survival rate.
Eric then talks to race organizer Rob Eakle about the grass roots event and the sponsors that make it happen. After that Eric intros a new video from our friends at RIVE with the band Skinny Puppy showing some major break skills in their new video/song called Pro Test directed by William Morrison. Very hip shot and edited film backed with tunes by a world-class band. Check this vid!
The next segment rolls right into another new video from RIVE and Side One Dummy Records with the band Flogging Molly rocking a punk Celtic-Core Irish jig called Drunken Lullabies. See band member and pro skater Matt Hensley huck some sweet street skate moves here along with more dirt skate scenes with Eric from Mt. Palomar. Nice dusty wipeouts too! After that the X Guru interviews NHG 7 mtn board 1st place race winner Krazy Kris Kidwell and 2nd place winner pro Akoni Kama who talk about their recent gigs. The show wraps with more dirt skate action from Palomar including 4 year old Damian Hurtenstein showing his young board skills followed by a look at some core dirt board action scenes from the video Flirt With Dirt by Damon Krouse. Additional music by Off By One, Pressure 4-5 and Alien Ant Farm. Dirt boarders rule the dust!

Xcorps Action Sports Show #37.) "XCORR-1" - seg.2 - This Xcorps show throttles up and rips the screen with insane high horse motor sports action with coverage of the CORR off-road race series held at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds in Lancaster California.
CORR-Championship Offroad Racing is race genre born from the Baja Mexico 500/1000 races which led to the development of a wide range of tough custom 2 and 4 wheel drive off-road race vehicles including 800HP trucks with massive suspensions along with Pro Lite street style trucks, dirt buggies, trophy carts, ATV's and Rhino racers. James Baldwin was instrumental in developing and bringing the races to the people with stadium style race events championed by Mickey Thompson in the 1960's. Now many members of the Baldwin family help manage, promote and race in CORR events.
X medalist and show host Rat Sult open it up with hot music and a high desert drive to Palmdale California. N.E. of Los Angeles to the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds - site of the CORR races. The X cams were there shooting this new style of motor sports with Rat naming off drivers like Ricky Johnson, Josh Baldwin, Alan Pflueger, Curt LeDuc and Carl Renezeder who all just love battling it out in the dirt! Scarlet Records band Allhelluja matches the action with their song and video "Superhero Mother..."! Nice moves girls!
After the break it's back to high rev mud slinging Pro-2 class off-road action in front of thousands where drivers are banging it up and going BIG off dirt kickers and berms easily covering 10 truck lengths through the air! It's loud and Rat's proud to be there covering all the moves over the mile long course. Sub NoiZe Records band Hed p.e. pumps it up with their song "Sweetchops". Sick POV action shots here from cameras in the rigs as well as from an over-head cable cam capable of 100MPH+ provided by Perpetual Motion.
The next segment continues hard and fast with MOWER rolling their song 'Road Rage' to track action that includes mass destruction and vehicle carnage-flips-rolls and fire all over the Lancaster track! Somehow the song seems appropriate.
Body panels fly and the segment continues to pound on with more Sub NoiZe music from the Humble Gods rolling their tune 'Destroy' - only the strongest survive!
In the pits Rat talks to NASCAR driver Robby Gordon about CORR and his recap of the race -see what he says. After that the relentless high powered action continues with a new RIVE video from Eulogy Records band The Warriors doing their song 'Downbeat'. Cool edit effects here along with insane airborne race action and a message from the band!
Rolling the pits Rat then speaks to driver Josh Baldwin who talks about his #86 custom Ford truck and what it takes to get the power to the ground in the rig! Check out the shots of the inside of the truck followed by more race moves with Josh jamming on the track.
Daddy X pumps the song 'Mind Bender' and Rat catches up with another team Baldwin driver super-cross legend and all around off-road champion Ricky Johnson who talks about what he thinks the future of CORR will be.
The show closes out with a dose of off-road single buggy action where chicks roll too! Rat talks to driver Cissy Baldwin about her moves on the track against the guys! Go girl! Stay tuned for part 2 of Xcorps coverage of the CORR race series with host Jason Lazo reporting from San Diego at a cool outdoor track called 'The Quarry'.
