“TORNO SUBITO” is our movie. It is the world’s first free movie on the web in HD! To watch it you don’t need to take your car, look for a park and neither get any ticket.

We are not a production company. We are not an association.
We are only a group of people working in cinema industry who have got only one purpose in life: demostrate that is possible make a movie not being “sons of…” or “f**king with…”
We succeded in it? We can’t say it: what do you think? Watch our movie and contac tus!

For us, making a movie is like playing in a team. And the tim who win isnt’ that one made by champions, maybe talented but selfish. The winning team is that one in which really exist the team… where everyone respect his role and the other ones… where the champions give and hand to the newbies… where the score is most important than doing acrobatics… where the team playing believing that with a lot of willing and some good luck, the results will come.
None of us was believing that we will succeed in shooting this movie when we met for the first time. It was a cold afternoon of December. Thanks to the social networks we find ourself. And it happened. We made a movie. We imagined it. We shot it. We edited it. And we distributed it in Italy, reaching about 1 million spectators in three months. Now we want to take our movie abroad. And we want to do it with the help of everyone who knows how to use the web and want to help us.
The film has been shot in high definition. This format permit to print our movie on film and proiect it in cinemas without losing details.

Our feature film cost: nothing
None of us perceived any retribution for this movie. We don't asked for any loan or any financing. Everyone shared what he have to share. Someone put the camera, someother the microphone, some people their experience and some their stomach-ache.

This movie had a low impact on the enviroment. We used flash memories, rewritable infinite times, insthead the normal tapes. Every object you see in the movie has been taken from our garrets or in flee markets. The crew has moved using car sharing or using public buses and trains.

Don't you wish you could undo the past 52 seconds of your life you just wasted watching this?

Well tough.

You can't. No amount of Z key bashing can erase the image of a strange man doing very little - and doing it right on your own PC screen where you should feel safe from being abused by such nonsense and ridicule.

Anyway - shouldn't you be worried instead about trying to undo the past 10 years of your life, back to a time when words like 'potential' and 'opportunity' meant something to you rather than just sounding like cliche and callous terms your manager would say?

This is the teaser trailer for the new fan cartoon created by Anthony 'A-Log' LoGatto, the Santos Brothers and myself, Glen Bosiwang (Glen B. Wang for short, and yes, I animate all the sequences in this teaser). And yep, it's a homage to the great but sadly cancelled Nick show, My Life As A Teenage Robot (we're big fans of the show and I also did some fan arts for the MLAATR's official blog), Genndy Tartakovsky's revolutionary cartoon Samurai Jack, Batman, The Animated Series and other great cartoons/anime of the Animation Renaissance. Since this is our first attempt at making a series of short episodes, don't expect too much from such a humble beginning but we all just hope you enjoy what will eventually become what it is in later posts.
Subsequent teasers will feature more of the title character's elite known as the Scarlet Steels. The first episode will be made as soon as I have the script and the original music!

Elliott Sharp: “Doing The Don't” (45 min.) NY + various locations.
Premiere New York, on November 20th, 2008.

Avant-garde Composer/Musician Elliott Sharp is a prolific force in the New York experimental music scene, as well as in Europe, China and Japan. This film reveals the many directions this multi-talented artist takes as a performer and composer for opera, orchestra, string quartet, jazz ensemble, solo guitar, film, theatre and dance.

The three-part film includes Elliott Sharp conducting the premiere performance of his opera “Em/Pyre in 2007 at the Venice Biennale; performing on guitar in Beijing China at a rock music club; conducting and performing excerpts from “Quarks Swim Free” with Orchestra Carbon in New York.

“Slabs, Plantars, Violinoids” - the second part, traces the development of the handmade instruments he created to make the special sounds he needed for his music. Archival footage shows him in performance at BAM with his large ensemble, playing his unique double-neck guitar in a specially commissioned work.

In part three ”Sharp on Sharp” he speaks about the influence of music downloading on the Internet, and the positive effect it has on the growing audiences at live performances of new music. He talks about his teen-age years as an award winning “science geek” and of the growing, powerful need to make music. Musicians and friends speak about his work and the influence his music has had on them. A Music Bonus of over 80 minutes of audio tracks of live performances in Beijing, Padua and New York is included. (Less)
