This is my Senior Thesis film I just finished at Alfred State College in southern New York. It's about two cookies, one is passive, and the other is very overbearing. It's a story about their journey from inside their cookie bag, the only thing they've known their entire lives to a brand new world, outside their cookie bag on a kitchen table. It's a bit of a morbid comedy, I think most of the jokes hit so enjoy!. (Less)

Considering the growing interest shown by young people in Cinema these days, we the organisers at sixteen:nine international film festival focus on harnessing young potential who are worth their salt. The festival is organized by the students of SVKM's Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Management, India with the vision to promote student filmmakers on a global level. sixteen:nine, a film festival with a difference not only in terms of being a platform for showcasing talent but also as a learning experience for filmmakers. The festival will be held on the 12th and 13th of January 2009 at venues in India. The aerial shot begins at Creve Coeur Airport and follows the Missouri River north past St. Charles. The Missouri River then dumps into the Mississippi River where the barges are at Alton, Illinois. The flight heads south down the Mississippi River to the St. Louis Arch.

The Shepherd is a 20 minute long short film written, directed, produced, etc. by two eighteen year-olds: John Merizalde and David Torcivia. Fresh out of high school from Atlanta, Georgia, we are preparing to study film and broadcast at college. This is our first serious attempt at a truly professional (in an indie way) film.

The film is a psychological thriller (inspired by 1984) and was shot on a Canon HV30 at 24p 1/48 with no external lens or adapters. Color correction, special effects, and editing was performed in Sony Vegas and Adobe After Effects. Friends and family are used as actors in the film. The film is shot on location throughout the Atlanta area. This is a no budget project meaning we spent less than $80 on the entire film. The film took about a month and a half to complete.
