http://www.dancestar.com/ - Blue Man Group with one of the best performances ever at DanceStar USA Miami Beach. Performing the Donna Summer Hit 'I feel Love' the guest vocals are from Venus Hum..Experimental musical theater troupe the Blue Man Group were founded in 1987 by longtime friends Matt Goldman, Phil Stanton, and Chris Wink; identical in their blue -painted skin, skullcaps, and black clothing, they soon became a fixture of the New York underground performance art scene thanks to their regular appearances in Central Park, followed by shows at noted East Village spaces including Dixon Place, Performance Space 122, and the Wooster Group's Performing Garage. Equal parts play, concert, and sketch routine, the Blue Man Group combined sight gags, physical stunts, and audience participation, with members of the front rows given plastic rain ponchos as protection from the hail of paint, food, and other assorted projectiles launched from the stage; in early 1991, they premiered their production +Tubes at La MaMa, moving to the Astor Place Theater by the end of the year and ultimately winning an Obie Award for their efforts. +Tubes eventually expanded to long runs in Boston, Chicago, and Las Vegas; in 1999, the Blue Man Group also issued an album, Audio, spotlighting their custom musical instruments. Three year later, the trio inked a multi-album deal with Atlantic's sister label, Lava Records. The Complex, which appeared in April 2003, marked the Blue Man Group's monumental sophomore album - a slick effort showcasing impressive collaborations with Tracy Bonham, Dave Matthews, Dan the Automator, and Esthero. Xcorps Action Sports Show #14.) "BASE-2" - Those fearing heights beware - this episode of the Xcorps freefalls right over the edge with guest host and world class B.A.S.E. jumper Ray Murphy falling into a 1200 foot glory hole in Mexico called Cave of the Swallows. For the ultimate in ground rushes Ray and 5 loco amigo hombres from the States - Matt McClone, Jeremy Brice, Morgan Moert, Travis Meimann, and Dan Langstraat strap on parasails that look like small backpacks and launch themselves into the massive underground void where very few have gone before. Surreal action scenes here along with great tunes by Off by One, Drowning Pool and cool new breakout band from New England - Jediah all mixing well with the ambient cave audio echo.
B.A.S.E. jumpers - Buildings - Antennas - Structures - Earth are an insane and growing niche of adventurers who first must do thousands of jumps from aircraft to learn the needed skills to jump closer to earth. Jumping BASE is jumping with no margin for error. Feel true terror with scenes shot with multi helmet cams worn by the six eXtremists. The viewer is pulled downward with adrenalized clarity into one of the largest limestone sinkholes on the planet - The Cave of the Swallows near the remote town of Golondrinas in Eastern Mexico. The hole is 1200 feet deep - a seven second 100 mph B.A.S.E. drop into an echo chamber filled with sound of screaming freefalls and the wail of thousands of swallows and parrots living in the vertical cave walls. Surreal for sure! Watch those boulders when landing! There are no nearby hospitals. See how they get out.
Mid way through the show Ray introduces a new music video from our friends at Rive music promotions with the band NickelBack cranking up the volume with an explosive solid rock performance of their song - Figured You Out.
After that Ray returns with more BASE action followed by Xcorps host Bob Woodard riding a new skateboard from our friends at PHAT boards. Bob rolls the hills of Point Loma San Diego with the Hammerhead super wide track pushed by tunes from Drowning Pool. Cool board to see. Hear what Bob thinks of the ride.
After that its back to Ray in Mexico going even bigger and some great shots from a cameraman hanging half way down on a rope. Is that what a falling body sounds like!
The show wraps with some sweet wakeboard shots - a preview of an upcoming Xcorps episode. Additional music by One Side Zero, Rolling Stones and Dr.Dre. Mucho loco! TRT-29:30 4/04 Close Captioned - J.S.Edmondson.
See the Action - Hear the Music - Join the Xcorps!

あさがお Asagao (morning glory).
Audio-visual installation in English, German and Japanese ASAGAO-PREVIEW.
An artist's text spoken by three women's voices in three different languages leads through a digital composition about a certain relation between the human being and nature (as a gigantic force) in a mechanized world. The artist shows the human being as an alienated and remote-controlled figure that strolls through shopping malls and finds itself exposed to nature and a world, based on urban areas - traffic - mass medias. The human body starts to float, losing individualism and independence...

Surrealistic love story. Or the big moment for the couch potato? Short from 1993. I would have cut it down to 50 seconds if I made it today. But in these quick moving internet times I figured I could leave it like this. Sit back and relax for 5 minutes. (Less)
