Xcorps Action Sports Show #41.) "HAWAIIMANA" - seg2 - The Xcorps goes BIG ALOHA with host Jason Lazo back in Hawaii covering a mix of cool action X fitness events sponsored by mega nutrition maker HAWAIIMANA producer of the HawaiiMana Challenge.
From the start the show goes BIG with wild shots of tow in surfer Garrett McNamara outrunning locomotive waves at Jaws and Teahoopu Tahiti backed by tunes from MOWER. Hang on! The scenes are mellow here too with sweet Oahu island shots of rainbow framed beaches under the waving coconut palms. So Ono!
Jason introduces team HawaiiMana training on the shore and under the water! See their unique method of building strength and lung power using just a big rock! Great UW shots of turtles and fish in their element mixed with irie tunes from reggae Electric Avenue pop master Eddy Grant.
After the break Jason goes from SCUBA to outrigger canoe and then on to the North Shore of Oahu to hang at the Hawaiimana beach crib and some surfing by team members Alisha and Davey Boy Gonsalves, Jason Miller and Oleema Miller.
Then the X cams roll down the beach to V-LAND to catch rising NSSA surf champ Carissa Moore carving and rippin! Jason meets her on the beach for a little interview. She how she gets her training and hear her fun laugh! Then it's back to Garrett towing into another massive thunder tube followed with a smooth exit rolling tight with another Eddy Grant tune - Reparation.
Jason samples some local flavor and crosses the island again to meet with open ocean stand up paddleboard master Aaron Napoleon who leads the Xcams offshore to the turbulent Molokai Channel for a look at this emerging challenging sport! It was a challenge getting these shots in the rolling big waves as Aaron paddled his 15-foot board up and down the deep blue victory at sea swells all captured for our viewers in HD!
Everyone onboard was hanging tight as Aaron paddled the huge water edited with a fresh new music video from San Diego band My American Heart. Nice fit! Jason talks with the HawaiiMana man back at the boat. See what he says about the ride!
The next segment rolls back to the shoreline to catch the voice of Hawaii fitness man Joe Teipel body surfing Sandys beach in style! Jason talks with the waterman about HawaiiMana and the island spirit of Aloha. Cool shots of the famous Halona blowhole going off here too!
The show closes out with Jason back in SCUBA gear and a beach sunset near Diamond Head talking with HawaiiMana girl Kristin Austin doing some Yoga moves. Just another day in paradise for those who join The Xcorps!
Stay tuned for more fun in the sun future episodes covering training for the HawaiiMana Fitness Challenge in Hawaii. See http://hawaiimana.com/ for more.

http://www.dancestar.com/ - Blue Man Group with one of the best performances ever at DanceStar USA Miami Beach. Performing the Donna Summer Hit 'I feel Love' the guest vocals are from Venus Hum..Experimental musical theater troupe the Blue Man Group were founded in 1987 by longtime friends Matt Goldman, Phil Stanton, and Chris Wink; identical in their blue -painted skin, skullcaps, and black clothing, they soon became a fixture of the New York underground performance art scene thanks to their regular appearances in Central Park, followed by shows at noted East Village spaces including Dixon Place, Performance Space 122, and the Wooster Group's Performing Garage. Equal parts play, concert, and sketch routine, the Blue Man Group combined sight gags, physical stunts, and audience participation, with members of the front rows given plastic rain ponchos as protection from the hail of paint, food, and other assorted projectiles launched from the stage; in early 1991, they premiered their production +Tubes at La MaMa, moving to the Astor Place Theater by the end of the year and ultimately winning an Obie Award for their efforts. +Tubes eventually expanded to long runs in Boston, Chicago, and Las Vegas; in 1999, the Blue Man Group also issued an album, Audio, spotlighting their custom musical instruments. Three year later, the trio inked a multi-album deal with Atlantic's sister label, Lava Records. The Complex, which appeared in April 2003, marked the Blue Man Group's monumental sophomore album - a slick effort showcasing impressive collaborations with Tracy Bonham, Dave Matthews, Dan the Automator, and Esthero. http://www.a3film.com - In mid- to late-'60s Britain, an unusual yet colorful subculture sprang up and thrived as a product of the upswing in British pop music, only to meet its doom within a few short years. Though the BBC functioned as the country's main source of news and music, its programmers offered very little airtime to rock & roll -- which left an overwhelming need unfulfilled. In response, small bands of "pirate" radio enthusiasts set up broadcasting towers on boats just outside of English boundary waters, and transmitted signals to an estimated 25 million listeners, 24 hours a day and seven days per week. Unsurprisingly, the DJs who took charge of these broadcasts could rival just about anyone in terms of flamboyance and outsized personalities. With The Boat That Rocked, writer-director Richard Curtis (Love Actually) travels back to the Swinging Sixties and takes a headfirst plunge into this colorful realm. The story opens in 1966, aboard a rusty fishing trawler christened Radio Rock and equipped with pirate broadcasting equipment. Here, the slightly daft elitist Quentin (Bill Nighy) presides over a motley crew of joint-toking, s*x-hungry disc jockeys including Dave (Nick Frost), a heavyset boob who nevertheless considers himself a hot property with women and loves to chase skirts; "The Count" (Philip Seymour Hoffman), an American DJ who aspires to be the first person to drop an F-bomb over the British airwaves; the gloom-laden Irishman Simon (Chris O'Dowd); bonked-out hipster Thick Kevin (Tom Brooke); womanizer Mark (Tom Wisdom); Angus (Rhys Darby), a New Zealander whom nobody likes; and the only female member of the group, lesbian cook Felicity (Katherine Parkinson). These misfits pull off quite a show -- enough of one that they attain the status of national idols for the youth culture -- but the super-conservative government minister Dormandy (Kenneth Branagh) detests the whole business and will do almost anything in his power to shut them down. ~ Nathan Southern, All Movie Guide

Xcorps Action Sports Show #7.) "SPEEDSKI" seg.3 - You see all the action and hear all the music in this custom episode of The X Corps called SPEEDSKI which introduces the audience to hidden sports like the Long Beach to Catalina open ocean water ski races and a new music video from Maverick recording artist Michelle Branch. The show opens with XC host Jason Lazo jammin' some of his own tunes with his guitar on the beach at Swamis in Encinitas Ca.
Jason intro's a segment on the whacked sport of open ocean high speed water skiing - The Catalina races - held once a year out of Long Beach harbor. Participants in the race sign up for a 63 mile round trip straight line tour to the island of Catalina and back pulled by high performance 1200 horse power race boats. Most racers go non-stop completing the circuit in less than 1 hour! Average speed is 70mph.
We shot this segment strapped into an open door rock 'n' roll helicopter the Boeing MD-500 with pilot Larry Etchandy at the controls. Larry is crazy and used to shooting big Hollywood films and he gave us one wild ride resulting in some great action footage. Try flying backwards and sideways just feet in front of an open throttled race boat! New tunes from Maverick artist Paul Oakenfold powers the action. Interviews with the winning skiers on board the ocean liner Queen Mary after the races. See www.xcorpstv.com or www.catalinaskirace.com for more info.
After that Jason jams another tune on the beach and intros a fun segment on a new way to roll with a product from Australia called The Wheelman. Eric The X Guru Ducharme hosts this segment shot at his pad in Encinitas Ca where several of the motorized units were being assembled. Eric talks to inventor Grant Taylor about the new 46 cc rim drive 4 stroke foot motorcycle and gets to ride one too. This Xcorps episode introduces this new product, which will be popping up on the streets and trails here soon. Extremist and snowboard legend Shawn Farmer is on hand here as well helping with the assembly. If you can stand on a snowboard or ride a skateboard you can roll on a Wheelman says Grant. Action shots of Eric and other riders on the street, track and off road. New music from Maverick band Unloco pumps it up here too. See www.wheelman.com.au for more info.
After that Jason takes us to a new video from the talented Michelle Branch who sings her new tune "Goodbye to You". Check out her wheels, and the forest fire, and the fish! Then Jason opens a new segment that will appear regularly on the show called "A Skate Odessey" - an action film mix from our world of skate. More hard tunes from Unloco and see Erics Moab Utah wipeout! The show wraps with Jason laying down another tune from Swamis Beach along with a little more speed ski footage and a promise of more adrenaline laced episodes. See the action and hear the music-join the Xcorps. Additional music by One Side Zero.

Xcorps Action Sports Show #30.) "BMX " - seg.3 - The X cams zoom in on southern California in this episode with guest hosts Rat Sult and Crystal Aldana hanging with the All Girl Skate Jam at the Vans Warped Tour in San Diego, BMX bike master Rick Thorne hucking major moves at his private park in east LA and Jason Lazo checks out the opening of the worlds largest skate park - Vans - in Orange Ca.
The show opens with guest host and BMX legend Rick Thorne at his custom BMX park built in his backyard in east LA. See what The Man in Black says about the sport and check the action backed by new tunes and video from Suburban Noize band Mower cranking their song Road Rage. None died in the making of the vid!
Crystal and Rat roll the Vans Warped Tour and cover the All Girl Skate Jam happening at the custom all aluminum ramp painted by the folks at Lost. Cool. Rat interviews female skaters Apryl Woodcock and Mandy Esch. Great shots of them and other girls pulling moves.
After the break the action and music continue with the KottonMouth Kings performing their new video Move cut to more freestyle BMX action featuring Rick Thorne. Nice fit. Rat interviews Rick for the details behind the freestyle zone he calls Fade to Black named after the Metallica song. Cool foam pit flights by rider Sean Stack here also all backed by tunage from Maverick Records - Cookie - doing Hot Night.
In the next segment Rat and Crystal thro it to host Jason Lazo who is at the super-sized Vans skate park called The Block, in Orange California which at 46,000 sq. feet makes it one of the largest skate parks on the planet. X cams rolled the action on the street course complete with ramps, rails, banks and pyramids. Killer shots at the 80 foot vert ramp as well as pros rolling the Combi Pool built from the original Upland Ca skate pool plans. Sweet!
Jason talks to pool legend Salba - Steve Alba. See what he thinks of the place. Mowers remake of California Dreamin rocks the skate action along with video and music from Selectric Records - Cross Culture - jamming their song - Swing - thanks to Rive video.
After the break the cameras find Rat hanging at the AGSJ booth with the cool girls from team MetroMint and he talks to AGSJ founder Patty Segovia about the event.
The show closes out clicking with the KMK band and more sick BMX action from Rick Thorne at his Fade to Black park along with some sound advise from the Man in Black.
Additional music from Ozomatli doing the song Cut Chemist Suite.

Xcorps Action Sports Show #27.) "CABO" - seg.3 - The Xcorps loves action sports in exotic locations and this show delivers both in high doses with sports fishing off Cabo San Lucas Mexico, Baja offroad racing in the desert and spectacular fire dancing at the Melia Cabo beach resort.
The show opens with music from Maverick Records mega artist Alanis Morissette and XC front man host Bob Woodard in his element - on board captain Randy Hinton's Cabo sportsfisher - the Incognito - heading out into one of the best fishing areas on the planet - the Pacific ocean at the end of the scenic Baja peninsula 1000 miles south of San Diego Ca. Check out the action with Bob and the crew hooking up to striped Marlin in grand Hemingway style! Included are underwater shots of the huge fighting fish along and many scenes of local wildlife such as jumping Grey whales and giant flocks of pelicans. Xcorps promotes tag and release in sports fishing demonstrated by Bob wrestling one of the underwater monsters one handed - getting the hook back and sending it on its way in the mile deep waters below. Music from the So Cal band The Dorados and their song "Hooked On Hookin Up" fits the action like a glove. This band knows their fish songs!
The next segment rolls ashore and into the desert with Bob hooking up with Gala Ancona and Fernando Cancino from Baja Wide Open Adventures for some offroad race action. See the dust fly as Bob straps in and hits the test track with cool music and scenes from Les Claypool's Frog Brigade "Buzzards of Greenhill". Also here is an insane clip of XC host Rat Sult dragging his new V8 sand rod at Glamis dunes Ca. Another good fit thanks to the local Cabo buzzards and our friends at RIVE.
After the break the action returns to the deck of the "Incognito" for more world class hookups with Bob and the boys landing and releasing 2 more Marlin for the X CAMS! After the sun sets its over to the resort for a special look at the nightlife in Cabo with Malabara - an exotic fire dance team-performing. Slow camera shutter speeds capture the flowing fire action as the dancers spin fire to music from island irie legend Eddy Grant doing his song "Everything Irie". Cool hot stuff on Nikki Beach!
The show wraps with Bob sampling a tasty seafood feast prepared by Melia cooks accompanied by a festive mariachi band jamming the classic song "La Bamba"! Viva Mexico! Additional music from Unloco. J.S. Edmondson - 2/06 TrT - 29:30 Closed Captioned.
