Description: I am a passionate climber and, while doing my degree in literature, I was training and travelling a lot. Climbing led me to filmmaking: I started doing documentaries about the sport, its philosophy, its practisers. I eventually moved to a great climbing place in England (Sheffield). There I combined intensive rock climbing with a master of arts in cinematography and editing. At that point, I was still a bit scared about making fiction short films, because fiction meant acting… and acting was so important for me: secretely, I had always dreamt of becoming and actress, but I wasn’t confident enough to make it real…However, after one year of interpreting for asylum seekers, which I enjoyed though, I decided I had to throw myself into fiction film. I moved to the south of France because I was bored of climbing between rain drops, I was admitted in a filmmaking school very difficult to enter, and, by making successful short films, I became more and more confident about my creativeness.
