With two festivals annually, one in Hollywood April 9-11 2010 and one in Philadelphia October 14-17 2010, FirstGlance is one of the few indie film festivals that give back to its filmmakers and audiences with screening share, filmmaker awards, door prizes and more!
Our Philadelphia event, now in its 13th year is unique.It not only shows award winning indie films from around the globe, but showcases and promotes the best Philadelphia talent, from students and professional filmmakers as well as our new KidFest, a month long celebration of kid and family friendly films shown to the museum audiences, and sharing in the profits.
What makes FirstGlance different is we actively search for bigger and better opportunities for our filmmakers and audiences. We currently have deals with online and retail distribution for short form content, and launched our inaugural short online contest this year to amazing numbers. We are the future of film festivals and distribution for filmmaker and audiences, offering two events a year and an online companion contest with great prizes and visibility.
