This is the Season 1 finale of Zomblogalypse, the hilarious series created by Hannah Bungard, Tony Hipwell and Miles Watts. This episode is the highlight of the season, which bodes well for Season 2.
In this one, the gang decides to screen their films at a local movie theater. They encounter some resistance along the way - before, during and after the show. What's refreshing is how many extras the filmmakers got to play zombies. Before there weren't very many and you just had to go with the flow, but here there's enough to allow you to get lost in the story.
The films they screen are absolutely hilarious. Hannah's is just random shots of people sleeping, while Miles' shows his name about 10 different times during the opening credits, as if he were trying to be the next Robert Rodriguez or something. One of my favorite running gags in this series is whenever Tony is messing with the zombies, and his film doesn't disappoint in that regard.
All in all, Cinepocalypse is a top-notch finale with a great cliffhanger ending. Stay tuned after the end credits for a sneak peek at Season 2. The zombie mishap at 8:55 almost made me fall out of my chair.
