This channel features the work of animator Joaquin Baldwin. His films share some of the same obsessions with nature and transformative experiences. Another attribute they all share: they're beautiful to look at.

For soothing viewing experiences, you pretty much can't beat Placenta and Papiroflexia. These movies are set in magical worlds where humans can change shape and the life cycle is constantly renewing itself. The Garden of Proserpine is a gorgeous adaptation of the poem by Algernon Charles Swinburne, while Alphamorphosis is a short confection about a butterfly that turns into a flower. Sebastian's Voodoo is the most popular of the bunch, and for good reason. It's a unique mix of the horrible and the adorable, as Gingerbread Man-shaped voodoo dolls are confronted by a malevolent witch doctor.

Using mostly Maya, AfterEffects and PhotoShop, Baldwin is creating computer-generated masterworks. I invite you to get lost in them.
