Snuffy /

Snuffy is about a big yellow rabbit obsessed with catching a butterfly. From this simple premise, the film comes up with a number of amusing shenanigans for the rabbit and his winged prey.

First, the floppy-eared fellow tries catching the butterfly with a net, then later with a vacuum cleaner. (Helpfully enough, there's an electrical outlet in a tree in the middle of the woods.) He also uses a tank and a canon and, finally, he commandeers a miniature aircraft.

The movie is great fun if you can appreciate the craft that went into making it. Anyone who knows anything about stop-motion animation knows what a painstaking process it is. If you like Wallace & Gromit, then you'll like this.
