Studio “Mult.ru” was founded in 2001 and since then it has occupied one of the leading position in Russian flash-animation.
The basic directions:
- animation serials and films
- animation serials and films for TV and Internet by order
- web design (only at the order of an animation serial)

Founded in 2001, Studio Multru is a Russian company specializing in flash-animation videos. They are one of the biggest - if not THE biggest - contributors to Openfilm, with hundreds of videos spread across five channels. Most are brief and amusing animated bonbons.
Studiomultru features Rugrats -looking kids playing dress-up and acting like adults. Superloser & Babushka is about a little kid who thinks he's a superhero. He tries to help an old lady out and gets a whack over the head for his troubles. The funniest are the Kozyovka videos, Mom's Day and Fish Day, though the ending of Catopult is priceless. In it, a purple cat accidentally kills its owner, and then backs away slowly from the scene of the crime. The longest, most elaborate is Little Kira. It appears to be about two kids discussing the various ways the dinosaurs might have gone extinct. Of course, this is guesswork on my part given that the video is in Russian, but this is still my favorite of the movies on this channel.
The KnightLife channel offers 30-second medieval tales. I really dig the dragon in this series - I wish I had one of those. Doggy is about a messed-up little mutt that pees on everything; every one of his videos is set to the same catchy dance tune. LittleShopBo is defined by stylized, drawn-in backgrounds. A homely purpled-haired guy and his cute pet rabbit get in a series of adventures. My favorite is Bo the Musical, which brings back good ‘90s memories of Mr. Big and their most excellent hit, "More Than Words." Last but not least, the world of Masyanya is inhabited by Stewie Griffin-style, football-shaped headed characters with arms the size of fly legs.
While The KnightLife and Doggy don’t have any dialogue, other videos are in Russian so some viewers may have trouble following the storylines. But the movies are all pleasant to look at and for the most part appropriate for the young’uns.
