This music video for the rock band Ours doesn't have much in the way of plot. The good news is that director Michael Maxxis sure knows how to stuff the frame with exciting visual elements.

Of course, it doesn't hurt that the video was shot in scenic Valencia, Spain. It features Ours frontman Jimmy Gnecco walking around the city singing "The Worst Things Beautiful." He sounds a little like Bono, and he looks a little like Vincent Gallo's even-more-emaciated brother. More than once, Gnecco lies down in the middle of the street to think things over. Don't try this at home, kids, or anywhere else for that matter.

The video would be relatively pointless if it were not for the location. It's all about location, location, location, and Maxxis takes full cinematic advantage of it. The images are positively bustling with life as Gnecco is framed against fireworks, beautiful architecture and a dazzling parade. The tune is kind of a ballad, which should tell you right away whether you'll like it or not. But the video would be watchable even without the music.
