This movie is funnier than a truckload of Krusty the Klowns. OK, maybe not that funny, but for someone who's usually not a fan of British humor it had me in stitches.

Some poor bloke (Morgan Evans) is hanging out on his balcony, talking on the phone, putting people on hold, eating Chinese take-out and also playing with his food. This movie proves once and for all that you can't do five things at once. He falls off the balcony and is only barely able to "hang on" (a better title for the movie, no?) as he dials for help with his tongue. The woman on the other end of the line is no help at all and is appropriately named "Phone Bitch" in the end credits.

The movie isn't great to look at, but I'm guessing that's on purpose. Sometimes Spike Jonze makes shabby-looking movies to hide all the visual trickery that's going on. I think something similar is going on here. At any rate, we're completely convinced this guy is about to plummet to his death. Evans turns in a frantic and very funny performance, while George Lift's music keeps things light and bouncy.
