Finally, we have another comedy troupe on Openfilm to rival The Minor Prophets. EscapePodFilms is like the younger and shorter (in terms of the length of their videos) version of The Minor Prophets. Most of their movies appear to have been shot in and around a major American university, and this holds true for the nonsensically titled Daddy of the Daughter.

An opening voiceover explains that the filmmakers violated a bunch of copyright laws while making the video, like filming posters and playing popular music. The movie has been "censored" to keep the filmmakers from being sued. So instead of Seventeen we hear "THAT TEENAGE MAGAZINE" and instead of iPod we hear "PORTABLE MP3 MUSIC DEVICE."

The movie is two minutes of nonstop hilarity. I especially like the original song "Tiny Daughter," which appears to be a replacement for Elton John's "Tiny Dancer." For some absurd and inexplicable reason the censor starts to sing along to "Tiny Daughter," even though his lyrics are no different than the ones we hear on the radio. Where can I download this ditty? I need it so I can put it on my [PORTABLE MP3 MUSIC DEVICE].
