And this year’s festival is going to be
Bigger and Better!
In addition to trailers for fiction and documentary movies, 2011’s contest has categories for web series and books. The Grand Prize is $5,000, plus, a one-on-one meeting with a celebrated Hollywood insider. If you don’t have a movie, web series, or book to promote then no problem. There’s a special prize for faux trailers representing ideas still in the concept stage.
The deadline to participate is May 31, 2011.
If you submit earlier, your chance to win the $1,000 People’s Choice Award will increase substantially. Here is how that breaks down:
#1… voting is taking place right NOW. So, the earlier you submit your trailer, the more opportunities the voting public will have to see your trailer and vote. Also, voting for the People’s Choice Award will continue, after the deadline, until June 30.
