So nice, in fact, that each filmmaker has the potential to earn as much as $10 for every 1,000 U.S. views they gain for their content. So, what are you waiting for? Upload your work; gather your friends and ramp up some views! Now is the time to gain some quick cash for your creativity.

We feel our great filmmakers deserve a little more than just ad revenue. So, we are calling upon all our viewers to make donations to their favorite filmmakers on Openfilm. Just a few bucks will go a long way with our talented creators.

Festival news, blogs and comments from others

Everyone knows that we have one of the most comprehensive Film Festival databases, but did you know that our database listings now have festival news, blogs and comments in them? Check out the latest from Sundance, Telluride, Cannes, and others. Or read Helen's Blog about her experiences. Got your own you want to share, just comment on the festival. How about viewing some of the Festival entries or past winners, we got that too on our Featured Festivals page.

Continuing to raise the level of professionalism

We are very serious about this. Especially because of all the thank you notes we received in response to our previous newsletter. We have now masked all the "7 special words" with some cute stars. If you are one of the affected individuals, we ask that you please take a look. This will give us the ability to attract more generous advertisers and Hollywood execs.
