We did it. Our site is finally up and we couldn't be more proud!

Seems like only yesterday we were sitting around, brainstorming, discussing what features we could offer users that no other video sharing site has, searching like crazy for the most unique and high quality videos around the web... Some days we would bicker about page design and colors. Other days we'd spend on set, filming some of our own videos, cutting them and cracking up at ourselves in the editing room. But it hasn't been easy. Building Openfilm has been a huge undertaking!

 

Now the time has come to reap the benefits. It's so great to see people creating accounts and uploading their stuff. We're very impressed by the quality of the work and the kind of users we're getting to join us – so professional, so creative, so smart... ok, we won't kiss up too much. Suffice it to say, we're excited to welcome you to our community.

That's one of the reasons we've started this blog. We want to keep in touch with all of you and keep you informed. We'll write here regularly about the status of the website, new features, updates about our own production and whatever else is relevant. Perhaps we'll even share some of our super secret production and self-promotion techniques :)

And there's one thing we want to make clear: we're not pretending we're perfect. The site is young and we have a lot of corners to polish. But we strongly believe in our concept and strive every day to make Openfilm.com the ultimate destination for premium video content and the best place for all viewers to browse and watch best short films, videos, and animation. For that we need your feedback.

Please, browse the site as much as you can, try every feature, go crazy. Then calm yourself down, take a deep breath and shoot us an email about your experience. Is there a bug we missed? Is there a necessary feature you don't see? Do you like how things look and feel? Is the site... SEXY? Tell us.
