Description: There is something honest about horror filmmaking. Walking on set and watching a large group of people being done up as zombies gives me a special kind of joy. Don't get me wrong it's not the only honest form of filmmaking and it's no the only kind of filmmaking I do. But making horror films brings me back to those moments as a kid where your playing and pretending and your imagination is limitless. You weren't concerned with creating "art" or changing the world. You just wanted to keep Queenie Meanie and her two deranged sons from hacking you to death in the woods. I'm new to Open Film and I look forward to meeting many filmmakers and for all of us to become one large family even if it is a slightly disfunctional one.
