Adrian M Sherlock is the creator of Damon Dark, an Australian Science Fiction hero who first appeared in a five week series on Melbourne's Channel 31 in 1999.
Originally a government agent with the secret service team called Department Six, Damon Dark was a dedicated UFO hunter, searching for unknown invaders.
A professional pilot was produced in 2000, but nothing further came of this. Damon Dark then returned as a webseries on YouTube and in 2007, Damon Dark was reinvented.
Damon returns to Earth after 10 years missing in time and space, in The Souls of Cygnus. He is now a time-travelling human agent of Trans Dimensional Control, a kind of intergalactic secret service force run by friendly aliens. He faces many enemies, notably the Collective of Cygnus 12, ghost-like beings who seek new bodies.
Damon is torn between his human origins and his duty as a cosmic defender.
Made on a tiny budget, Damon Dark's adventures are intended to demonstrate the potential of the character and his creator. It is hoped that Damon Dark may yet become a fully professional production.
