Just look at the pedigree - Director David Cronenberg ("A History of Violence," "Eastern Promises"), scriptwriter Christopher Hampton ("Dangerous Liaisons") - and the great cast which includes Viggo Mortensen, Keira Knightley, Michael Fassbender, Vincent Cassel - and you can certainly bet that Sony Pictures Classic is angling to make this film an Oscar contender! The premise is intriguing too! Based on Hampton's play, the film tells the tale of the deteriorating relationship between Mortensen's Sigmund Freud and Fassbender's Carl Jung.
