R.I.P. Peter Falk

Peter Michael Falk, best known for his role as Lieutenant Columbo died peacefully at his Beverly Hills home after a long fight with Alzheimer's Disease. He was 83.

Falk was nominated twice for an Academy Award, one for 1960's "Murder, Inc.," and 1961's "Pocketful of Miracles." (Read a complete appreciation for his talent right here)

He had been suffering from dementia and Alzheimer's disease according to his daughter, Catherine Falk. So long Mister Peter Falk.
