Moviegoers Prove They Love Liam Neeson When He Loses Things! "Unknown" Climbs to No. 1 with $21.8 Million!

It's official, Liam Neeson is in the business of losing things. In 2008's "Taken, " Neeson's character lost his daughter and it became a bona fide box-office hit! Now, Neeson is having a severe case of identity theft in "Unknown" and the mystery thriller debuted at No. 1 with $21.8 million.

Disney's re-imagining of the William Shakespeare classic, "Gnomeo & Juliet," remained at No. 3 with $19.4 million. With a long President's Day weekend, No. 2 and No. 3 may switch rankings since "Gnomeo" is only a sliver away from "Number Four." So far, "Gnomeo & Juliet" has raised its total to $50.4 million.

Previous weekend's No. 1 champ, Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston's rom com "Just Go With It" fell to No. 4 with $18.2 million and has raised its total to $60.8 million.

Meanwhile, the weekend's other new wide release, "Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son" starring Martin Lawrence and Brandon T. Jackson debuted at No. 5 with $17 million.
