5:30pm -- and here's Morgan Freeman and the Magic of the Movies!

And here's what we like about Billy Crystal -- as Jean Dujardin in "The Artist," as George Clooney's wife in "The Descendants," as Brad Pitt in "Moneyball," and right now, jamming with Justin Bieber ala "Midnight in Paris!"

Billy Crystal eats the famous "The Help" pie!

And of course, a great "Bridesmaids" bathroom segue!

6:52 -- And back to the lovely Billy Crystal and Melissa McCarthy reenacting their BRIDESMAIDS parody by way of the Oscars!

And Emma Stone...another Oscar virgin...with Ben Stiller...oh no...Stiller did not appear in costume!

But Stiller is wearing a really dark tan!

And am I the only one who thinks that Emma Stone got all the roles that Lindsay Lohan could have been playing, if she cleaned up her act?

Okay, Visual Effects -- I picked Rise of the Planet of the Apes!

8:04 -- In Memoriam -- awwww...we lost a lot of great artists in 2011

8:11 -- More stars talking about the magic of movies -- let's move on now! By the way, is it just me or Tom Cruise looks kind of weird? In a 100% perfectly chiseled way?

And now, Natalie Portman to present the Best Actor Oscar...will it be Jean Dujardin?

Ooooh, seeing Jean Dujardin in a Hollywood setting brings me back memories of THE ARTIST! In color and with sound of course!

And the Oscar goes to Jean Dujardin for THE ARTIST -- his first Oscar nomination and award!

Ooooh, the Best Actress coming up! Will it be Viola Davis? Meryl Streep? Michelle Williams?

8:23 -- Colin Firth presents the Best Actress award to...

The surprising Meryl Streep for THE IRON LADY! It was supposed to be Viola's year, but something happened along the way! Either or, we all love Streep. This is her third Oscar -- she previously won Best Supporting Actress in "Kramer vs. Kramer" and Best Actress in "Sophie's Choice."

I always love Streep's acceptance speeches!

Now, it's Tom Cruise presenting the Best Picture award...he looks like Taylor Lautner WTF?

Argh...and the Best Picture Oscar goes to...THE ARTIST? Perhaps? Maybe?

And the Best Picture Oscar award goes to...THE ARTIST! And by the way, everytime they use the Oscar-winning score, it makes me want to see the film again!

And with that, the 84th Annual Academy Awards, the 2012 Oscars, is now but a mere memory! Truth be told, I enjoyed the cool vibe that producers Don Mishcer and Brian Grazer added to the show! But the best part? It's still Billy Crystal! He owns the telecast!
