This should go well with your green eggs and ham! Johnny Depp is set to star as Dr. Seuss!

The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Illumination Entertainment and Infinitum Nihil are working on a live-action movie about the life of classic children's author and illustrator Dr. Seuss aka Theodor Geisel.

Depp is set to produce the project and Universal Pictures will distribute. Keith Bunin is writing the screenplay.

The actor already starred as a famous writer before, that of J.M. Barrie, the guy who gave us "Peter Pan" in the film "Finding Neverland." So this is perfect! Oh the places Depp will go!
