He's a Las Vegas magician who leaves his longtime stage partner only to find himself upstaged by a rival hip street magician. I told you it's like a contemporary albeit comedy version of Christopher Nolan's "The Prestige." So Carell is like the Hugh Jackman character and maybe Carrey will be the Christian Bale magician, only funnier.
