It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's the First Picture of Henry Cavill as "Superman: Man of Steel!"

All I can say is fierce! And contrary to the "bulge" incident when Warner first released Brandon Routh's picture as the Man of Steel in 2006's "Superman Returns," Henry Cavill's red trunks is hidden.

So no tongue-wagging y'all!

This reboot is being directed by Zack Snyder (click here to see my interview with the director for "Sucker Punch" where he revealed some details about "Superman: Man of Steel") and produced by Christopher Nolan.

Cavill's co-stars are Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue, Julia Ormond, Russell Crowe, Chris Meloni, Harry Lennix and Laurence Fishburne.

Truth, justice, and the American way will be unleashed in theaters when "Superman: Man of Steel" debuts on June 14, 2013.
