I Love This! Michelle Pfeiffer May Join Tim Burton, Johnny Depp for "Dark Shadows!"

Previously, in 1992, Michelle Pfeiffer and Tim Burton teamed up for "Batman Returns" where the actress memorably played Catwoman. Now, the Hollywood Reporter is saying that Pfeiffer is in negotiations to return to the loving arms of the director for the big screen version of "Dark Shadows."

Based on the 1960s gothic vampire TV soap opera, the new version stars Johnny Depp as Barnaby Collins, a vampire living in Maine who is searching for his lost love.

The role Pfeiffer is in talks to play is Elizabeth Collins Stodard, the matriarch of the Collins family. She has an interesting arch - she's reclusive, hidden in the Maine mansion since her husband disappeared a decade earlier.

It's all about love...and vampires...and werewolves. Hhhmmmm, echoes of "Twilight" anyone?

Burton is targeting an April start date and joining the cast are Jackie Earle Haley, Eva Green, and Bella Heathcote.
