George Clooney Says Buh-Bye to Steven Soderbergh's "The Man From U.N.C.L.E."

As we told you last year, Steven Soderbergh wanted to make a big screen version of the 1960s NBC spy drama "The Man From U.N.C.L.E." George Clooney was attached to star but now, Deadline is saying that the actor is "in the process of withdrawing." The reason for the exit is still unclear, perhaps it's the good, old "creative differences" excuse?

But apparently, Warner Bros. wants to stay on track for a February 2012 production start, so let's wait and see who they will pick to replace Clooney. Stay tuned...
