As the Three Stooges' World Turns - Sean Hayes Casts as Larry

Previously on the "Three Stooges" casting drama, Will Sasso (TV's "MadTV") was confirmed as Curly, and Hank Azaria was the favorite and rumored to be the front-runner for the role of Moe.

It was also rumored that James Marsden was going to play Larry! It was a head-scratching moment for me, I really couldn't see how Marsden would pull it off. I enjoyed his comedic timing in "Enchanted," but the Larry Stooge character requires more of a slapstick actor with a penchant for pratfalls.

So enter, "Will & Grace's" Sean Hayes. Variety has confirmed that Hayes has bagged the role of Larry, making him the second cast member to join the reboot.

The project, according to the Farrelly Brothers who are set to direct the film, will comprise of three 30-minute vignettes involving the antics of the "Three Stooges."
