Paramount has confirmed that it has crossed the magical $1 billion mark at the domestic box office for the year. And the studio has been the first to cross the $1 billion mark for five years in a row!

Last month, we told you that "The Social Network's" Armie Hammer, the face of the Winklevoss Twins, was in early talks to star opposite Johnny Depp in the planned big screen version of "The Lone Ranger."

Moviegoers flocked into theaters in support of "Rio!" The animated family film featuring the voices of Anne Hathaway and Jesse Eisenberg claimed the top spot with an impressive $40 million box-office take, giving it the best debut so far this year.

"Limitless" took the top spot at the box-office this past weekend. The Relativity Media sci-fi thriller starring Bradley Cooper debuted at No. 1 with $19 million. ("Limitless" review)

Not exactly, but although the two stars are not actually on the speaker list, two of their most recent films will most certainly be represented in the Content Theater during the 2011 NAB show coming to Las Vegas from April 9th through the 14th.

Rango is a sheltered chameleon living as an ordinary family pet facing a major identity crisis. After all, how high can you aim when your whole purpose in life is to blend in?

Johnny Depp has not been on top of his game recently. His performance in the much-maligned "The Tourist" was largely forgettable, and I would argue that his Mad Hatter portrayal in "Alice in Wonderland" was an offshoot of his Willie Wonka role in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory."
