Alexander Payne's "The Descendants"continue to get love from film critics, this time, the Southeastern Film Critics Association honored the thought-provoking drama the Best Picture of the year at their annual awards.

Meryl Streep, currently winning accolades for her Margaret Thatcher performance in "The Iron Lady," will be awarded an Honorary Golden Bear at the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival.

Oh lordie, yet another Hollywood film is coming to Broadway! This time, it's "The Bridges of Madison County." You remember the film starring Meryl Streep and Clint Eastwood and their few days of solace...and cheating!

It is pretty safe to say that Meryl Streep will score a Best Actress Oscar nomination for her portrayal of Margaret Thatcher. The film looks interesting, but I hope this will not suffer from the "J. Edgar" biopic unsureness disease -- is the personality in question a hero or a villain?

Just in time to meet Oscar deadline, the Weinstein Co. has announced that "The Iron Lady" starring Meryl Streep will be released on Dec. 30!
