Hi guys, just spreading the love! Yours truly became a two-time Emmy recipient last Saturday for the 2011 Emmy Awards (Pacific Southwest).

If you mention Entertainment Attorneys who are known for their work with Independent Filmmakers, one name that always comes up is Hal "Corky" Kessler. He has represented numerous clients within the entertainment industry and has also assisted governors and members of Congress in many states implementing new laws and tax incentives for qualified fim and television projects. In addition, Kessler has developed, packaged and executive produced feature films, is an Adjunct Professor at Northwestern Law School and John Marshall Law School and speaks frequently about the business and legal aspects of producing feature films. Ironically enough, the first workshop I attended at the 2010 Movie Campus fest Grand Finale held at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas last weekend was led by Sam Eigen, Executive Vice Present at Shoreline Entertainment discussing Movie Sales and Distribution.

Angelo Giordano has been around for years in the entertainment industry. Known for producing Las Vegas shows like the popular Voices, now playing at the Hilton, and running a company that functions as a management agency and recording label and handles sports and casino marketing, Angelo is now in the process of launching The Giordano Theatre. Targeting the last Friday in March to open its doors at the Hilton, he describes it as "an independent film theatre. What that means is that it will showcase independent films, studio pictures, inspiring filmmakers and also Hollywood type pictures. It's a real mix. We also do shorts as well and documentaries and there's no theatres out there that are distributing shorts and documentaries."
