As if it's a big surprise, but the winners of last year's Academy Awards in the best performance categories will present this year's winners.

Some movies come directly to you, begging for your attention if not demanding it outright. And other movies sit still and quiet even as they hold out a hand, beckoning you closer until you’ve been drawn in almost in spite of yourself.

I’m sure there are more exciting things in life than watching Colin Farrell, dressed in a sleek, dark suit, weave through the streets of London behind the wheel of a saucy black convertible, the Yardbirds’ “Heart Full of Soul” rumbling on the soundtrack.
