Thanks to our favorite feline, DreamWorks Animation's shares soared 12 percent because of its stellar second-week performance! Voiced by Antonio Banderas and distributed by Paramount Pictures, "Puss in Boots" held steady at No. 1 with a very little dip from its opening box-office total of $34.1 million.

I love meeting Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek! Together! I've always believed that the couple has great chemistry on and off screen, and it was a blessing witnessing it right before my very eyes. Banderas returns to his trademark role, and Hayek tries her hands in animated work for the very first time.

Director Chris Miller has crafted an excellent spin-off of the popular "Shrek" franchise starring the lovable feline "Puss in Boots." He's been with the character since its inception, so it just makes sense for Miller to be at the helm.

We fell in love with the character Puss in Boots when we first saw him in 2004’s "Shrek 2." The frisky feline, voiced by Antonio Banderas, nearly stole the show from Mike Myers (Shrek) and company.

So, I was wearing my I Heart Cat t-shirt the day of the press junket for "Puss in Boots." And lo and behold, my t-shirt became the ice breaker of the day.

The idea of building a person to spec — especially when that person is some form of ideal woman — is one that’s haunted the movies in variations from My Fair Lady to Vertigo to Bride of Frankenstein to Weird Science.

DreamWorks Animation and Paramount have announced that they're moving the opening of "Puss in Boots" one week earlier from Nov. 4 to Oct. 28th! Yay!

Six years ago, Antonio Banderas, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and director Martin Campbell entertained us with the swashbuckler "The Legend of Zorro."
