The fourth installment in the super-popular "Paranormal Activity" franchise will scare viewers on Oct. 19, and today, we heard that Paramount has picked a writer.

Trick or treaters, snowstorm in the east, and Halloween be damned, "Puss in Boots" emerged victorious at the box-office against all odds. The DreamWorks 3D flick proved that this kitty has legs beyond the "Shrek" franchise.

I love the "Paranormal Activity" franchise. The first one intrigued me, the second one scared me, and the third made me believe in the potency of the franchise. So I was happy as a clam to interview the directors of the third installment, Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman.

"Paranormal Activity" the franchise is a certifiable hit! The third installment of the popular series scared up $54 million at the box-office to debut at No. 1.

The PARANORMAL ACTIVITY franchise continues with this third outing from Paramount Pictures. Oren Peli and Jason Blum return to produce the highly secretive feature.

The first "Paranormal Activity" intrigued me, the sequel scared me, and the third made me believe in the potency of the franchise. All three films invite us to use our imagination which makes the journey far scarier. No gore, just good-old fashioned thrills.

My complicated muddle of feelings toward the Paranormal Activity franchise are directly related to my acute personal susceptibility to jump scares. They work on me embarrassingly well. A film that’s as reliant on them on Paranormal Activity 3

Yes, I'm looking forward to seeing the third installment of the "Paranormal Activity" franchise. I enjoyed the first two, so we'll see if the "Catfish" team of Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman will give justice to the beloved horror baby of Oren Peli.

I don't know about you but I've become a "Paranormal Activity" fan. I enjoyed both 1 and 2 and looking forward to the third one. We can call the third installment "When Catfish Meets Paranormal Activity! "
