What is the Openfilm Ad Network?

The Openfilm Ad Network is a way for film festivals, blogs, and relative company websites to earn revenue off of their visitor traffic. When the Openfilm.com website does not have enough ad space to fill our advertiser’s demands, we can direct those ads onto your site and share the revenue with you.

Why the Openfilm Ad Network?

1. It’s FREE. There are no hidden fees and no handling costs. You will know exactly how much the ad will pay per 1,000 impressions or per click.

2. It’s EASY. Once you register and embed the automatic ads onto your website, you will only need to review an email with the advertising opportunities as they come up. You do nothing if you want the revenue from the specific ad or you simply select “opt-out” if you don’t want the revenue.

Interested? Complete and send the Request to Join form and a representative will follow-up to approve and establish your account.

Step 3 – JOIN

Fill out the “Request to Join” form to the left. Please allow 72 hours for an Openfilm representative to follow-up with you.

Review and agree to the Openfilm Ad Network Participation Agreement on the Request to Join form, and read the FAQ’s ahead of time. When your representative contacts you, they will be able to answer all your questions and help establish your account.

Once you have established your account with an Openfilm representative, they will collect a completed and signed W9.

  • Why do I include my mailing address?

    Your mailing address will be the address used by our accounting team to send your revenue checks.

  • When there is no current advertisement, can I change the default placer holder to a custom place holder?

    Yes, but you will not earn revenue off of the custom placeholder. You will earn revenue off of the default Openfilm.com place holder.

  • How many ad spaces can I have on my website?

    You can have as many as you like, but we don’t recommend creating more than two placements per page.

  • Will I receive a traffic report?

    Yes. Within reasonable time at the end of each calendar month, Openfilm will deliver a Company revenue report, detailing the number of impressions generated on the Site, revenues generated from Advertising sold, and the corresponding payment to be invoiced by Company to Openfilm.

  • How will I get paid?

    Company shall invoice Openfilm on a monthly basis following the receipt of the report by Openfilm. The Revenue Share shall be paid to Company on or before sixty (60) days after receipt of invoice. To ensure timely payment, the Company must notify Openfilm of any changes in its Network account information, including change of address, phone number or email address.

  • Can I terminate my contract with the Ad Network?

    Yes, simply notify us via publishers@openfilm.com and allow any accepted ads to complete, we will then remove you from future campaigns. Please see our Ad Network Participation Agreement for further details.

  • I have 2 websites; can I sign them both up for the Openfilm Ad Network?

    Yes, as long as they are relevant.

  • What does it mean to have a relevant site?

    It means that your website attracts the same type of visitor as Openfilm.com. Use your judgment and we will make the final confirmation.

  • Is there a standard length of time that each ad will run on my website?

    No, each ad is different.
